My name is Fernando Diaz de Leon Rendon. I am a professional multidisciplinary artist and educator who graduated from OCAD University with a BFA in Drawing and Painting with a minor in Material Art and Design. Currently, I am passionate about creating the fine art of "Repousse," also known as Metal Embossing. By working with various metals, including pewter, copper, aluminum, stainless steel and brass, this fine process involves working from the back of the metal to create stunning reliefs.
As an artist, I am committed to creating sustainable art by repurposing materials and experimenting with mixed media. I incorporate different mediums to add textures and colours into the art pieces to create one of a kind masterpieces. My goal is to raise awareness about the importance of the environmental responsibility through my art. My inspiration stems from my heart and the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds me.
